Provincial Course
Date: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2009
Time: Saturday 1pm to 6pm; Sunday 12 noon to 4pm
Venue: Carleton University, Ottawa
Cost: $45
Open: to all members

The Ontario provincial course is an opportunity for all members of Jitsu Canada clubs to meet for a weekend of training. This course provides students with the chance to train with many different people from the various clubs. The event is open to everyone, from beginner to black belt. Several senior Jitsu Canada instructors will be teaching. There will be two days of training, and, in addition to regular jiu jitsu, some of the more obscure areas of our curriculum will also be covered.

Accommodation on the Saturday night is provided by members of the host club, and there is always a memorable social event on the Saturday night.

Individual Demonstration Competition

Once again, we will be holding an individual demonstration (Gauntlet and 'V') competition. All members will have the opportunity to participate in 'V' and 'Gauntlets' judged by the various instructors. The winners in each category will advance to the finals on the Sunday. This will be an excellent chance to showcase your jiu jitsu skills.

Competition categories will be:
    - Novice
    - Yellow to Green
    - Purple to Brown
    - Black Belt
