Spartanburg, South Carolina has been chosen to host the 3rd Jitsu Foundation international event. The purpose of the event is to bring together practitioners of our style of jiu jitsu from all over the world. It will provide a rare opportunity to meet fellow students from the different countries, and to sample the different perspectives and teaching styles of the various instructors. This event happens only once every three years.

The 2009 event is looking to unite Jitsuka in the beautiful upstate region of South Carolina. Our aim is to offer participants the opportunity to train with top instructors from around the world in small seminars over a two day period followed by a two day training event. Of course there will the be the obligatory socials including a semi-formal dinner dance, BBQ (Southern American style!!) and additionally we will be offering some non-jitsu events.

Our aim is to offer a holiday with benefits; excellent training, wonderful venue, great prices and the opportunity to sample the “Southern Hospitality” of South Carolina.
